Hi, I'm Robin Brown, a lifelong Singer sewing machine enthusiast. My mother taught me to sew on a Singer sewing machine, I eventually bought my own, and in the house my parents bought when I was 4 years old, there was a vintage Singer in a cabinet with knee power treadle. I used that for years when I was a teenager.

I decided to make this site about Singer sewing machines to share my enthusiasm for this wonderful brand of sewing machines. In all honesty, I can't imagine buying anything other than a Singer. I'm the sort that prefers long term reliability to an on the spot lower price tag. Which is not to say that Singer is more expensive!
